Calitzdorp Art Festival is an annual event dedicated to promoting and showcasing artists. Our commitment to providing a platform for artists and art enthusiasts ensures a vibrant and engaging experience that celebrates creativity and cultural expression. The 2026 theme,  Karoo Alchemy, the idea that something ordinary can be transformed into something extraordinary through imagination, craft and care.

A large component of the festival is a children's art exhibition and competition. Children are encouraged to explore and learn art via dedicated workshops that take place throughout the year. These workshops are offered free of charge as part of ongoing community upliftment projects.
